Obligatory Christmas Post.

What the title says! I think every blogger in the world has done a Christmas post, so here’s mine. It’s nothing special, and I’ll keep it brief because…well, it’s a busy time. Unfortunately I won’t be able to put out a podcast this week due to time constraints, but I’ll just give you a heads up as to what you can expect in the coming weeks.

As many of you have already read, I did an interview with the wonderful Danielle Esplin about her and her upcoming book Give It Back. It was a great chat that we had, and getting to know her was awesome. You can look back here for when it’s released. Furthermore, I have a feature coming up on a very cool and interesting looking book. And lastly, another interview of a horror author. It’s a pretty exciting time for up and coming authors and me interviewing them.

It’s also pretty exciting for me with the relaunch of Lizzy. Since I started the relaunch I’ve had more interest in it than ever. Which is to say 5 free downloads so far! It’s better than the five I had in like 3 years. So I can’t wait to see where that goes. Don’t forget to grab your copy on smashwords or Cratespace at a discounted rate (Check the works section of the site to get the discount code).

Beyond that, I just wanted to say to all you writers out there – I know it’s a busy time of year, and maybe you’re putting of working on your projects. Stay focused, enjoy the break, but don’t put off your writing for too long. Keep in the front of your mind, and when the new year kicks around, you’ll be raring to go again!

Anyway, like I said, I’ll keep it short today. So enjoy the holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and all that fun stuff!

  1. Ha, don’t we all have Christmas posts–three or four, in my case. Congrats on the downloads of your book. Yeah, it’s so easy to stop writing during the holidays, but the new year is a great time to get into a new habit, whether that’s writing every day or reaching word count goals. Happy holidays to you as well!
