Inspiration.

People draw inspiration from all different kinds of sources, however I don’t mean creative or artistic inspiration. This post isn’t about that, in fact it’s about a very specific form of inspiration, and one that is semi-controversial, but not in a serious pro-life sort of way. I want to talk a little bit about superhero movies, or comics, well, just them in general. Continue reading “Inspiration.”

Like riding a bike… Sort of.

With the reemergence of the blog here, I’ve been reinvigorated to write again, slightly anyway. I’ve had some ideas flowing through my head lately, I mean, they’re always there like little voices scratching to get out of my skull, but my will to be lazy and discouraged usually outweighs it, shoving them back into my head where they belong. Anywhoo, I’ve been thinking about a new genre to look at. As much as I love horror, I haven’t been able to break into the market. And so I tried a comedy, it did worse than the horror one. I’m Back

Yes, yet another long hiatus comes to an end. I can’t explain why I stop posting, in fact I check the stats for the blog every single day, yet I never update or post. Perhaps it was after my last major update that I became discouraged again. You may remember, if you were around back then, that I released a new book about a year ago. From The Mind Of… Part 2.

Some of you may remember one of the very first From The Mind Of… interviews I did. It featured a beautiful young writer who had just finished up her first novel, a psychological thriller. At the time this young woman was all geared up and ready Danielleto self-publish her story, and when the time came for it to be released, it exploded. People on Amazon and Goodreads lauded it, with it garnering consistent five star reviews. Suffice it to say, Danielle Esplin and her debut novel Give It Back was a hit. The Fear You Will Fall

Writing is a tough gig. Honestly, it’s such an subjective field that even if you’re a best selling author, or screenwriter, or whatever, people are still not going to like you. But, if you’re at that point, you’ve probably got as many, or more people who dig your work, so it’s all gravy. But what about those of us who have been at this writing thing for more than half of their life without any success? Continue reading “The Fear You Will Fall”
